#The BSC Employee Contract defines the working conditions for all regular BSC employees.  “Employee” as used in the Employee Contract, shall apply only to Regular Employees as defined below, except where specifically stated otherwise.

# REGULAR EMPLOYEE – A position created by the Board of Directors for twenty-five to forty hours per week and hired for an indefinite period of time.
## Manager – The Executive Director and Operations Manager.
## Department Supervisor – Employees responsible for the supervision of other employees in their department.
## Hourly Employee – Those Regular Employees paid on an hourly or daily basis.
## Salaried Employee – Those Regular Employees paid on a salaried basis.
#. PART-TIME EMPLOYEE — An employee who is hired indefinitely, on an hourly wage basis, working zero to twenty-four hours per week.  Part-time employees are entitled to partial benefits (See Sections 6 and Section 13).
# ROOM AND BOARD EMPLOYEE — Someone employed by the BSC who is compensated in other than a wage form (i.e. workshift or Room and Board), with the exception of the President and the Vice Presidents, and other positions designated by the Board of Directors.  (These employees are not covered by this contract)
# TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES — Employees who fill on-call positions, who are temporary replacements for employees on leaves of absence, or who are short-term assistants, within the meaning of the Personnel Code, hired as needed on a temporary basis with an hourly wage basis.
## Temporary employees who have previously been hired under Section IV. E. or F. of the BSC Personnel Code shall be allowed to work up to full time for up to four calendar months, cumulative over their lifetime.  After four cumulative calendar months, these employees may work up to 25 hours per week (or no more than 400 hours during a four month period).
## Temporary employees who have not been hired under Section IV. E., F., or G. shall not be allowed to work more than four calendar months, cumulative over their lifetime, without being formally hired under Sections IV. E. or F.
## Temporary employees are not eligible for benefits, except as otherwise specifically provided for in this agreement  (See Section 6).
# GENERAL MANGER – “Executive Director” as used in the Personnel Code shall refer to the Executive Director or his/her designee(s).  The Executive Director shall be responsible for all actions taken by his/her designee(s).
# CABINET OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS - The Cabinet of the Board of Directors shall consist of the President, the Vice-Presidents, the Executive Director, and the elected members-at-large.
