Section 14. Meals for Employees

Regular and Part-Time Employees shall be given a 60 minute paid lunch break. Temporary Employees shall not receive paid lunch breaks, and their wages should reflect this fact. In no event shall maintenance employees hired for the Summer only receive paid lunch breaks.

In order to qualify for a paid lunch break, employees must work at least five hours. In addition, the meal break must occur within the working period, not at either end of the work period.
