Section 13. Military Duty
A. Regular and Part-Time employees who are ordered to active military duty under the Selective Service Act shall be eligible for re-employment in accordance with the policy established by the Act, provided that circumstances have not so changed as to make this impossible or unreasonable.
B. Leave with pay up to seventeen calendar days in a calendar year may be granted to employees who, as members of the National Guard, or Navy, or Air Force Reserve Corps, are ordered to duty. The appropriate Manager of the BSC will grant pay up to the difference between military compensation and the employee’s regular pay, provided that they have been employed by the BSC for at least a full year. This time shall not be deducted from vacation or sick leave.
