The VPET principal responsibilities are to evaluate and modify as necessary BSC education and trainings programs for members and unit-level managers, oversee conduct policies, and support a cooperative living and learning experience for BSC members.  The VPET shall coordinate the Board or Membership designated General Membership Meeting. The VPET shall oversee the Board-initiated referenda processes .The VPET is responsible for ensuring the effective functioning of the Member Experience and Training Committee. The VPET also may be directed by Board to serve on additional task forces and committees. The VPET will educate the Board about issues pertaining to their area of work as needed throughout their term and their committee about recent organizational priorities addressed by their predecessor(s). In conjunction with the Board Administrative Assistant, the VPET shall supervise the ETCom Administrative Assistant. The VPET shall work with their successor to ensure a smooth transition of duties and responsibilities. Also see the BSC Executive Job Description.


The Vice President of Financial Affairs (VPFA) is the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of the BSC. The chief
responsibility of the VPFA is to monitor the status of and provide student input to the finances of the BSC. The VPFA also
chairs meetings of the Finance Committee (FiCom). The VPFA meets regularly with the BSC Accountant. Also see the BSC

:1. Become familiar with the BSC accounting and budgeting processes.
'''Eligibility:''' Only sitting Directors are eligible to serve as VPIA.
:2. With the Accountant, shall present and educate the Board about the Audit in the fall semester.
:3. Supervise the yearly budgeting process. In the Spring semester, shall conduct a budget presentation and pass a budget before spring recess. In the Fall semester, shall review a year to date expense report and make recommendations for changes for the spring budget.
:4. Report regularly to the Board on the status of the budget (including cost overruns) & potential budget changes.
:5. In the Fall semester, shall conduct research necessary to understand the payroll structure of the BSC, and produce a report to the Board containing recommendations as needed.
:6. Educate the membership regarding financial issues.
